I was in my early 20s when Hard-Fi came onto the music scene with their debut album 'Stars Of CCTV' which got played a million and one times between me and my younger brother. Living For The Weekend was my anthem as I used to blast it out while getting myself ready to go to Blast Off and more than likely dance to it once again in the Civic Halls. At the time the music scene was bursting with so many great indie rock bands, I often refer back to it as the 'bangers' era, where you would find those songs being belted out on the dancefloor at an indie disco in town.
So, it was a very surreal experience to be asked to photograph Hard-Fi at the Wulfrun Hall - given my love for the band. Support came from Better Joy and my good friends Little Juke.
